Troy Glennon – Executive Director

For over 10 years Go South Adventures has crafted “Trip of a Lifetime” adventures to Latin America. Troy has experienced South America from both sides of travel, as a solo adventurer and as a group tour leader in Peru, Bolivia and Chile. He studied in Mexico and has a degree in Spanish Literature and Culture from the University of Washington. He has traveled throughout Western Europe, and continues to travel regularly to Central and South America. His passion, observations and experiences gained from exploring Latin America is evident in each adventure offered by Go South Adventures. “Moving from sitting in front of a campfire with fellow travelers, to sitting in front of a computer was a bit of a challenge for me. However, the desire to advance the dictates of sustainable tourism and promote its development has proven to be both complex and extremely rewarding. With each passenger sent on an adventure, I feel we gain one more voice on behalf of saving and protecting wild places, spaces and endangered cultures.” – Troy
