Lima City
Enjoy a private, fully comprehensive Lima City tour. Morning or afternoon pickup at your hotel. Your tour of the “City of Kings” begins in the downtown colonial district. Visit Plaza de Armas where you will see the Government Palace, the Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace, City Hall as well as the XVII century San Francisco church and catacombs (a world cultural heritage site). We also visit Larco Herrera Museum, as well as the modern district of San Isidro and Miraflores, where you will have a view of the Pacific Ocean from the Parque del Amor (Love Park). Tour ends with return to your hotel.

The Larco Herrera Museum
Founded in 1926, the Larco Museum showcases remarkable chronological galleries providing an excellent overview on 3000 years of development of Peruvian pre-Columbian history. Located in a unique vice-royal mansion of the 18th century built over a 7th century pre-Columbian pyramid and surrounded by beautiful gardens. Features the finest gold and silver collection from Ancient Peru and the famous erotic archaeological collection, one of the most visited Peruvian tourist attractions. For an unforgettable experience, Larco is one of the few museums in the world where visitors can also choose to enter the storage area with its 45,000 classified archaeological objects. Its masterpieces are considered worldwide icons of Pre-Columbian art and have been in the world’s leading museums.

NOTE – This is an excellent Lima City tour for those passengers who have long layovers (6-8hrs) in Lima before late night flights home. Airport pickup/drop off surcharge will be applied.
